So I looked at a couple of other people’s blogs and noticed that they all stopped at 64. I noticed that mine is at 63 so I was really happy that I only have to complete one final blog! Registration for classes went fine even though I had the sign up time of 2:30. Next semester I’m taking sign language, intro to theatre, contemporary conservation issues, and sociology statistics. I’m pretty happy about the days and times of my classes and I’m excited to start a new schedule. I’m not really nervous for finals, because I only have 2. I know if I study for them, I’ll do fine. It’s just finding the motivation to study that’s my problem. We’ll see how that goes. Other than that, I’m done blogging forever!! PEACE OUT.

8 & Counting

I just pumped out 8 blogs in one sitting! This is the ninth! I don’t know how I plan to finish this one off, but I figured I should write about writing that much. I’m happy I didn’t save them all until the last minute, but I could have stayed on top of them so I didn’t have to so this all in one night. Oh well, I’m just getting them done now rather than later when it’s really crunch time. When we first got this assignment, I was so intimidated by the idea of a blog. ”Blog” was a word that I only heard in movies about what some intellectual people did for fun. My idea of that has changed now…but still, I don’t see how it could be portrayed as fun.

Happy to Stop

I’m really looking forward to stop blogging. I always forget and it’s becoming a hassle. Instead of writing everyday like blogging is intended, I end up doing 5 a day to catch up for what I’ve missed. I think the way I get around to blogging really defeats the purpose of the assignment. I used to get it done on schedule everyday in the beginning of the semester, but now I always seem to forget. Some people said they set it as their homepage, but I didn’t want to be constantly reminded of school work every time I opened the internet. Needless to say, it’s almost over and I’m wicked glad.

Donating

I don’t know why, but I love donating things. Yeah, there’s old clothes all that, but what I’m talking about is stuff that is harder to come by. I really like donating blood. Not that I like the way it feels, trust me I don’t, but the way I feel afterwards is so special. I could have just saved someone’s life by spending a little time out of my day and having a little discomfort. Some people don’t have the resources to make as much blood as their body needs. It’s really rewarding to know that you’ve donated something that valuable. Also, last year, I grew out my hair and donated 10 inches to Locks of Love. I’m thinking about doing that again as soon as my hair is longer. The only hard thing with that is that it takes forever to grow! And then you have to start all over when you chop it off. But it’s worth it!

John Mayer Speaks to ME

I can listen to JMay 24 hours a day. And I would if I could. His music is so relaxing and his voice is so different-I could never get sick of him. I remember back in the day when some of my friends started liking John Mayer and I wasn’t buying into it. He had really long hair and his big song at the time was “Your Body is a Wonderland”. I thought he was a weirdo pervert and I didn’t want to waste my time listening to him. But I grew to like him and now I love that song! I guess I was just too young to appreciate his wonderful musical abilities and the talent that is John Mayer.

Salt and Vinegar

My roommate and I contemplated going to Philly late night tonight, but instead, we decided to go to Philly Cafe to spend some of our dining dollars. I had such a craving for salt and vinegar chips so I caved and bought some. It was a little bag, but I still felt really gross after eating them late at night. College has given me really bad eating habits that I need to break out of if I want to stay functional and healthy! I’m hoping over break I can start getting back into a good routine where I exercise regularly and eat at normal times.

I have been so bored this week and most of my professors have stopped assigning homework. The only things I have to worry about are a couple of English assignments, which I am partially doing right now with all of these blogs, and my final exams. My other classes have checked out and it is basically a joke to even go to class anymore since it’s getting towards the end. I have been watching so much tv to make up for my lack of school work. UNH gets so many HBO channels and there is always good stuff playing during the day. I can’t resist the television!!

Wonderwall

If someone asked me to pick my favorite song of all time, I would have to go with Wonderwall. It doesn’t matter who is singing it, or what mood I’m in while I’m listening to it..I just have always loved it. I searched it on iTunes just to see how many people have done a cover of it, and there were so many! Some only instrumental, some really weird, and some were really good! I found some new artists that sing the song really well. Wonderwall can be happy or sad, it all depends on how you look at it and what you’re thinking when you hear it. It’s just one of my all time favorites.

Over Break

Over winter break my brother and I are going to Florida for a week to visit my sister. She moved down to West Palm Beach a little after my move in day for UNH. I haven’t seen her since August and I really miss her so my brother and I asked for plane tickets to Florida to visit her over the holidays. We will be going on January 5, my dad’s birthday, and hanging out for a week. I am so excited to see her and have a wonderful vacation with my siblings. That is unless we get on each other’s nerves before it’s time to go home.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving break was really fun. I got to see all of my friends and catch up like old times. I kind of think of that vacation as a “teaser” because it made me really anxious for winter break. These next two weeks of school are going to go by really slow. But the bonus part of finals week is that I only have two! They are both on Tuesday and then I can just leave after that! My finals shouldn’t be too difficult, I have philosophy and survey of communication disorders. Hopefully I do well so I can relax over break!
